What is Umrah?
Umrah is the non-mandatory pilgrimage to Makkah that can be performed at any time of the year. It consists of four essential rites: entering Ihram at the designated Miqat boundary, performing Tawaf around the Holy Kaaba, completing Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and shaving or trimming the hair (Halq or Taqsir).
Most UK pilgrims combine their stay in Makkah with a peaceful visit to Al-Madinah al-Munawwarah to pray in Masjid an-Nabawi and visit the Prophet's Rawdah.
